Chapter 20 Module 4
1) Summarize the section from chapter 20
In chapter 20, Strayer expressed how the pioneers of western human advancement, for example, Britain, France, Germany, and lost their position and impact through aggregate clashes that weakened Europe. This prompted the passing of different Empires and their loss of Colonies and left their own implosion. The administration of the western world was left in the hands of one of its forerunners the United states. War had left Europe in a devastating state, so much that by 1945 you wouldn't be reprimanded for feeling that the western human progress was harmed and destroyed. However, in the second half of the century, the western force demonstrated its flexibility by making a European Union. Strayer last continues portraying the main universal war and how the Empires interlacing settlements lead to a hard and fast war. The battling happened in Europe as well as in its provinces, for example, in Africa and the south pacific where British and French powers started to assume control over german settlements. Japan's alignment with Britain attacked China so as to surpass the German provinces. The Ottomans saw extraordinary battling through Allied hands as well as through Arab Revolts. Finally Describing how America joined the contention after German submarines jeopardized American shipments in the Atlantic, this permitted Americans to have its first clash over European soil and helped reverse the situation for the partners.
2) Summarize what you learned during your self-guided research
I discovered a couple of things about Fascism and one of them is a type of far-right, tyrant ultranationalism portrayed by tyrannical force, coercive concealment of resistance, and solid regimentation of society and of the economy which came to conspicuousness in mid-twentieth-century Europe. Essentially this was revealing to me it was a capacity to the general public back in those old occasions. Fascism is a type of government that is a kind of one-party autocracy. They work for an extremist one-party state. This point is to set up the country for furnished clashes and to react to monetary challenges. The one-party rule places country and race over the person. This research I discovered was exceptionally useful to me because I can connect it back to the real world today.
3) Relate what you’ve learned from both of those activities to the world we live in today. Some people say that fascist tendencies seem to be on the rise in parts of the world today… do you agree? If so, in what ways do contemporary trends demonstrate fascist tendencies? If not, what key elements of fascism would you need to see evidence of in order to say that this is an accurate claim
I feel that Fascism is on the ascent of our world today. A significant number of the activities of our present president Donald Trump reflect a portion of the activities of the leaders of these fundamentalist systems in the twentieth century. He puts monetary goals over the issues of race and neediness which I believe is like some extremist propensities. Furthermore, he doesn't take responsibility for some issues that happen in light of the fact that he is attempting to secure his notoriety, which is likewise like what the leaders of these twentieth-century fundamentalist governments have done.
yes fascism is still alive nowadays. Like what we can see in many countries like my country Egypt.
